Dresser Color Dilemma

O my gosh unfortunately it's been a bit since I posted last.  Life is getting a little crazy with my last month and a half of grad school and my national exam coming up ..yikes!    Anywho on to the dilemma...

We recently moved a side-of-the-road picked dresser to our dining room to be used as our buffet table.

And now I'm contemplating what color to paint it (the hardware will be changed too). It has to be a fabulous color, there is already way to much neutral in my house!

So of course I turned to Pinterest for inspiration.

Here is what I'm thinking.

I lurve the yellow! The yellow in the first picture in my favorite! It's so happy and sunshiney ...word? I say yes lol.  It's grey around here so often I feel like the yellow dresser would be my sunshine.

I love the "shabby" look of the first picture!

I had to add this, green is one of my most favorite colors.  I love how organic it is.  However, my curtains in the living room and dining room are lime green so I thought a green buffet table might be too much green.

Ok so I need your opinions! What do you think? what's your favorite?

It would be cool if I could see the dresser to decide for sure. With out seeing it I say yellow paired with all those colors in the picture you liked....especially turquoise! Good luck :)

The yellow would look good against the green.

I had the same dilemma with my own dresser and decided on Turquoise. Actually, it decided for me. Yes, we had a full blown argument about it - I wanted to go with coral. The dresser had other plans. Just call me the Dresser Whisperer.

I really love the yellow one in the top image though - gorgeous!

Visiting from 'Sweet Little Gals' party btw ;)

Thanks for the comment on my coffee sack vanity! I'm your newest follower! On your color dilemma... I saw if you have green in your curtains then the yellow would probably look best as an accent :)

I love the options -- but go for the aqua :)

It's a tie between yellow and turquoise for me, but I agree that I'd have to see the dresser first to really decide

Love, love the turquoise! The yellow is pretty, very sunny looking, but I like the green, too! Yikes, can't decide.

The turquoise is certainly gorgeous but I do agree that it does seem to be everywhere lately. It might also clash with your curtains. I would have to agree with the yellow but I am also very partial to good old fashioned white.

Thanks so much for linking up to my weekly Pinning & Singing Pinterest party. This week's party has started so I hope you will pop by for a visit and to hopefully join in again!

Best wishes,

I think I would go with the yellow too. I like the nice soft yellows especially against gray. Thanks so much for linking up to The Creative Spark - so happy to see you back! Happy Halloween!
Jenn :)
